The Master Controller and Power Controller are computerized control
units for automatic and semi-automatic management of heating and soldering
cycles carried out with the Power Cube Family of Induction Heaters.
The Controllers enable the use of the SH series optical temperature
sensors, the solder dispensers, and the shield gas diffusers. They also
provide timing functions and four operating modes. Together with the
pyrometer and wire feeder the controllers can guaranty full repeatability
in the heating and/or soldering processes and in the characteristics
of the finished product.
They are capable of operating two Power Cube Generators in tandem for
simultaneous heating or independently controlling two heating heads
off one Series 900 Generator for alternating heating cycles.
An RS-232 serial port permits interfacing with a PLC or external computer
allowing automatic loading of different work programs into and from
the memory cells. The Controllers can also store up to 35 sets of process
parameters which can be programmed from the front panel or with Chip
Cards (Master Controller & Master Controller TS).
